About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking repair and modification services for a Clutch Assembly (NSN 7H-3010-014134654, TDP VER 002) under FAR 6.302-1 authority, indicating this will be a sole-source procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source; however, all responsible sources may submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements to express their interest and capability. Technical documentation and specifications are available through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) at DAPS in Philadelphia, PA, and via ASSIST-Online at http://quicksearch.dla.mil/, though patterns, drawings, deviation lists, and purchase descriptions are not stocked there. The due date for responses is May 15, 2026, providing interested parties 70 days from the posting date to submit their proposals. The Government does not own the data or rights needed to purchase this part from additional sources and has determined it uneconomical to acquire such data or reverse engineer the component.

This procurement involves no set-aside designation and requires delivery of 10 units FOB origin. No incumbent contractor or award value information is provided in this pre-solicitation notice. The notice emphasizes that while this is a sole-source procurement, any responsible party may identify their interest and capability to respond, though the Government intends to negotiate with a single selected source. For inquiries regarding available documentation or assistance accessing specifications through DODSSP, interested parties may contact the ASSIST Help Desk at 215-697-2667 or 215-697-2179 (DSN: 442-2667), or submit requests by mail to DLA Document Services in Philadelphia.
