Added: Jan 31, 2017 3:37 pm Modified: Feb 16, 2017 2:31 pmTrack Changes Under the auspices of 41 USC 3304(a)(2) Unusual and Compelling Urgency, the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 23, 708 S 3rd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55415 anticipates entering into a sole source fixed price contract with Cardiopulmonary Services, LLC for Clinical Perfusionist Services. The contractor will provide Clinical Perfusionists to provide direct patient care for the management of physiological and metabolic needs of surgical patients during cardiovascular surgical procedures including coronary by-pass; extracorporeal support functions; heart failure therapy and support; blood management; other clinical perfusion procedures as required at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System, One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 3 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is not a formal solicitation. The notice is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. The closing date for this synopsis is February 3, 2017 at 3:30pm CT. The Government reserves the right to execute an award without publishing a solicitation. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to ken.eshom@va.gov no later than the time and date noted.
