About this opportunity

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is seeking a contractor to perform engine module repair services for C/KC130 Air Vehicles, specifically focusing on T56 engine modules. The procurement will be competitively awarded using Full and Open Competition, with the government anticipating a single Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. Key contract requirements include returning T56 engine modules to a Ready For Issue (RFI) material condition, performing Series 3.0 engine module repairs, and overhauling Quick Engine Change Kits (QECK). Interested contractors must submit written responses via email to Stephanie Savage and Shawn Campbell by 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time on March 21, 2025. The government emphasizes that this pre-solicitation notice is not a commitment to issue a solicitation or make an award, and no phone inquiries will be accepted.

The contract opportunity is not designated with any specific set-aside status and is categorized under NAICS code 336412 for Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing. The anticipated contract award is scheduled for the second quarter of Government Fiscal Year 2026, with a five-year ordering period. Work is expected to be performed entirely within the United States. While specific award values are not disclosed, the procurement is structured as an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract, suggesting flexibility in potential contract volume. The solicitation targets contractors with capabilities in complex engine module repair and overhaul, specifically for T56 Series 3.0 engines and associated Quick Engine Change Kits. Potential bidders should carefully review the technical requirements and be prepared to demonstrate comprehensive maintenance and repair expertise for aircraft engine components.
