About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is procuring 35 units of Circuit Card Assemblies under NSN 7H-5998-016076507, with delivery required to DLA Distribution in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. This procurement falls under the Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, Boards, Cards, and Associated Hardware category and involves technical data package version 003 with reference number 8383890-2. The government has determined it does not own the data rights needed for this part and considers it uneconomical to purchase data rights or reverse engineer the component. The agency intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 authority, though all responsible sources may express interest and capability. The opportunity was posted on April 22, 2025, with responses due by September 22, 2025.
This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting participation to qualifying small business entities. All firms submitting solicitation requests must include their Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code as part of their submissions. The notice specifies a quantity of 35 units to be delivered to a specific DLA facility, though no contract value or budget range is disclosed in the pre-solicitation documentation. While the government indicates its intent to negotiate with a single source, the five-month response window from April to September 2025 allows time for interested parties to demonstrate their capabilities and potentially challenge the sole-source approach. The technical specifications and supporting documentation are available through the DoD Single Stock Point and ASSIST-Online systems for interested contractors to review.
