About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is conducting market research for the procurement of Circuit Card Assemblies identified by NSN 5998-01-456-6016 and NSN 5998-01-456-6014, with part numbers 16VE595007-805/3147494-805 and 16VE595006-805/3147493-805 respectively. This Pre-Solicitation Notice serves as a Combined Request for Information and Synopsis, designed to determine source availability, identify commercial or nondevelopmental items that meet requirements, and improve small business access to acquisition opportunities. The contracting office is DLA Weapons Support, located at 6051 Gum Lane, Hill AFB, UT 84056, and interested parties should contact scottina.malia@us.af.mil with capability statements, proposals, or quotations for consideration. The Government has determined that supplies are available from only a limited number of responsible sources, as the Government does not own the data or rights necessary to source these parts from additional suppliers, and reverse engineering has been deemed uneconomical. The response deadline for this pre-solicitation notice is February 27, 2026.
No set-aside designation has been applied to this requirement, indicating that all eligible contractors, including large businesses, may compete. The procurement specifies a quantity of one unit each for both NSN line items, with an estimated delivery schedule on or before January 31, 2028, to the DLO002/DA2QAF destination. The notice does not disclose an incumbent contractor or specific award value, as this is a market research phase rather than a formal solicitation. This procurement falls under NAICS code 334412 (Bare Printed Circuit Board Manufacturing) and PSC code 5998 (Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, Boards, Cards, and Associated Hardware), indicating the specialized nature of the electronic components required.
