About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is conducting market research through this combined Request for Information and Synopsis to procure Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and related electronic components, including electrical chassis and power supplies. This Pre-Solicitation Notice is intended to gauge market capability, improve small business access to acquisition information, and enhance competition by identifying contracting and subcontracting opportunities. The procurement is being managed by DLA Weapons Support, located at Hill Air Force Base in Utah, with inquiries directed to scottina.malia@us.af.mil. The Government has determined that these supplies are available from only a limited number of responsible sources based on proprietary data rights and the uneconomical nature of reverse engineering or acquiring data rights for alternative sources. The Due Date for interested parties to respond with capability statements, proposals, or quotations is December 30, 2025, and this notice should not be construed as a commitment to contract or an obligation to pay for information submitted.

This procurement carries no small business set-aside designation, and the Government has not identified a specific incumbent contractor in the notice. The attachment details seven line items with quantities ranging from 10 to 58 units each, including 18 electrical chassis, 68 power supplies, and 175 circuit card assemblies across various National Stock Numbers and part numbers. Delivery is scheduled between January 23, 2029 and May 31, 2029, providing a multi-year window for fulfillment. While no explicit award value is disclosed in this Pre-Solicitation Notice, the scope and timeline suggest a substantial procurement requirement. Interested contractors should note that this opportunity is categorized under NAICS 334412 (Bare Printed Circuit Board Manufacturing) and PSC 5998 (Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, Boards, Cards, and Associated Hardware), and all responsible sources are encouraged to submit their capability statements for consideration.
