About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, located in Warren, has issued a Sources Sought Notice for Circuit Card Assemblies with specific National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and Manufacturing Part Numbers (MFPNs). This Special Notice is focused on identifying potential sources capable of manufacturing two specific circuit card assembly items with NSN 5998-20-001-6400 and NSN 5998-20-004-4920, both associated with CAGE Code 05257. The notice is strictly for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or guarantee future contract issuance. It is designed to gather market intelligence about potential manufacturers who can provide these specific electronic components. The agency emphasizes that this notice does not commit the government to any contractual obligation and will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with their submission.

Interested contractors must provide specific information to be considered, including their full company name and address, CAGE Code, point of contact, and size status (such as Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.). Contractors must submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to manufacture the specified circuit card assemblies. The deadline for submitting information is April 4, 2025, and questions should be directed via email to the Contract Specialist, Sabrina Krafft. The notice references the Source Approval Program, which appears to be a rigorous process for qualifying as an approved manufacturer for military equipment components. Potential sources are advised to monitor SAM.gov for any future official solicitations and understand that not responding to this Sources Sought notice does not preclude participation in potential future RFPs. The ultimate goal is to identify qualified manufacturers who can meet the Defense Logistics Agency's stringent requirements for circuit card assembly production.
