About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is procuring a circuit card assembly (NSN 7H-5998-014708750-VN, TDP Version 009) under a total small business set-aside. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 authority, though all responsible sources may submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements to identify their interest and capability to respond. Technical documentation, military specifications, and standards are available through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) via ASSIST-Online at http://quicksearch.dla.mil/, with assistance available by phone at 215-697-2667 or 215-697-2179. The Government has determined that it is uneconomical to purchase data rights or to reverse engineer the part, indicating this is a proprietary procurement with limited competition potential. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on October 22, 2024, with a response deadline of February 6, 2026, providing interested parties a 45-day window to submit proposals or capability statements.
This procurement is designated as a total small business set-aside, restricting contract award to qualified small business entities. The requirement calls for a quantity of 10 units to be delivered to W25G1U, W1A8 DLA Distribution in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. No incumbent contractor or award value is specified in this pre-solicitation notice. The delivery location and quantity indicate this is a discrete supply requirement rather than a services contract, with the electrical and electronic assemblies, boards, and cards category (PSC 5998) defining the scope of work. Interested small businesses should prepare documentation demonstrating their capability to manufacture or supply the specified circuit card assembly according to the referenced technical data package and delivery requirements.
