About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure Circuit Card Assembly for repair and modification, specifically NSN 7H-5998-012568665-GL with a quantity of 262 units. The proposed contract will be negotiated under FAR 6.302-1 authority, which allows for single-source procurement. Interested parties have 45 days from the publication date (July 8, 2025) to submit proposals, capability statements, or expressions of interest. The government has determined it is uneconomical to purchase data rights or reverse engineer the part, and they will consider all proposals received within the specified timeframe. Potential vendors can obtain necessary specifications and standards through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) via the Document Automation and Production Service or ASSIST-Online digital resources.

The contract opportunity is not set aside for any specific business category and does not appear to have a disclosed incumbent contractor or specific award value. The procurement involves delivery FOB origin and is associated with the PSC Category 5998-P for Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, Boards, Cards, and Associated Hardware. The contract may be subject to Free Trade Agreements, potentially invoking DFARS clauses related to Buy American Act and international trade provisions. While the exact budget is not specified, the quantity of 262 units suggests a potentially significant procurement. Vendors interested in providing a commercial item alternative must identify their capabilities to the contracting officer within 15 days of the notice's publication.
