About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking circuit card assemblies for repair and modification, specifically National Stock Number 7H-5998-015334433-VU with a technical data package version 005. The procurement involves four units to be delivered FOB origin, with the government retaining full technical data rights and no manufacturing restrictions. The contracting officer is requesting interested firms to submit their CAGE codes with solicitation requests and has opened a 15-day window for potential vendors to demonstrate capability to satisfy the requirement with commercial items. While the government is not using FAR Part 12 policies for commercial item acquisition, vendors are encouraged to communicate their interest and capabilities within the specified timeframe. The due date for responses is June 2, 2025, with the pre-solicitation notice originally posted on March 18, 2025.

The proposed acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns, with potential specific set-aside classifications including HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned, or Women-Owned Small Business programs. The solicitation falls under Product Service Code 5998 for Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, Boards, Cards, and Associated Hardware. While no specific award value is mentioned, the procurement involves four circuit card assemblies with a clear emphasis on small business participation. The contract allows for A/RMCs 1 or 2 and represents an opportunity for small businesses to compete in a full and open competition environment. Interested firms should carefully review the detailed requirements and potential set-aside designations to ensure their eligibility and alignment with the government's procurement objectives.
