About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 33 circuit card assemblies for repair and modification, with a specific National Stock Number (NSN 7H-5998-013892750) and Technical Data Package (TDP) Version 001. Due to the complexity of obtaining competitive data for this item, the government intends to negotiate with a single source under FAR 6.302-1 authority. Interested parties can obtain relevant specifications and standards through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) in Philadelphia, PA, with multiple access methods including online platforms and direct contact. The government will consider all proposals received within 45 days of publication (or 30 days if awarded under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement), though this notice is not a formal request for competitive proposals. Potential vendors can submit their interest and capability to meet the requirement, with the government retaining sole discretion in determining competitive procurement.

The procurement is not set aside for any specific category of business, and the contract includes potential applicability of Free Trade Agreements and Buy American Act provisions. While no specific award value is mentioned, the procurement involves 33 units of the circuit card assembly to be delivered FOB Origin. The solicitation indicates that commercial items may be considered, with interested parties having 15 days to identify potential commercial solutions. The procurement falls under Product Service Code (PSC) 5998 for Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, Boards, Cards, and Associated Hardware. Potential vendors will need to demonstrate technical capability to meet the specific requirements of the Naval Supply Systems Command, with documentation potentially available through ASSIST-Online or by contacting the DODSSP ASSIST Help Desk. The procurement timeline suggests a potential contract award in mid-to-late June 2025, depending on the evaluation of submitted capabilities and proposals.
