About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure a circuit card assembly (NSN 7H-5998-016153119-VN) for repair and modification. The specific requirement involves 5 units to be delivered to Power Paragon Inc. in Anaheim, CA. The government intends to negotiate with a single source under FAR 6.302-1 authority, indicating a potential sole-source procurement. Interested parties have 45 days from the publication date to submit proposals, capabilities statements, or expressions of interest. While the government is not conducting a fully competitive procurement, they will consider all proposals received within the specified timeframe.

The opportunity is set aside as a Total Small Business contract, focusing on electrical and electronic assemblies in Product Service Code 5998. The government has determined it is uneconomical to purchase data rights or reverse engineer the part, which may limit potential bidders. Contractors seeking to participate can obtain necessary specifications through the DoD Single Stock Point's Document Automation and Production Service in Philadelphia, PA, with most documents available in Adobe PDF format online. Interested parties can access these documents via ASSIST-Online or contact the DODSSP Help Desk for additional information. The procurement appears to be a specialized technical contract with specific requirements for a niche electronic component repair and modification service.
