About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is procuring repair and modification services for a circuit card assembly (NIIN 7G-5998-012913114-GL). This pre-solicitation notice indicates the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, though all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond. The procurement is driven by the Government's determination that it is uneconomical to purchase data rights or reverse engineer the part, making sole-source procurement the most efficient approach. Interested parties can access relevant Military and Federal Specifications, Standards, and other technical documentation through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) or ASSIST-Online, with assistance available through the DODSSP ASSIST Help Desk or mail request to DLA Document Services in Philadelphia. The due date for responses is January 22, 2026, and this notice represents intent to proceed rather than a request for competitive proposals.

This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting competition to qualified small business entities. Raytheon Company, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, is identified as the current or incumbent contractor for delivery of the repaired circuit card assembly. The requirement calls for five units (5 EA) of the circuit card assembly to be delivered to the Raytheon facility at 46219-2001. While no specific contract value is disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice, the procurement falls under the Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, Boards, Cards, and Associated Hardware category (PSC 5998), indicating a specialized electronics repair and modification service requirement.
