About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command seeks circuit card assemblies for repair and modification under NSN 7H-5998-015439652, TDP VER 002. This procurement involves electrical and electronic assemblies, boards, cards, and associated hardware classified under PSC category 5998. The government does not own the data rights for this part and has determined it uneconomical to purchase data rights or reverse engineer the component, limiting potential sources. Award will only be made to offerors who meet qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Companies must include their CAGE code on solicitation requests, and the due date for responses is August 22, 2025. The contracting office has indicated that market research determined FAR Part 12 commercial item procedures will not be used for this solicitation.
This opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified contractors. The procurement specifies a quantity of 6 each units with delivery FOB origin terms. No incumbent contractors or potential award values are identified in the notice. Companies not currently approved as technical sources can express interest through the NAVSUP Business Opportunities web portal by completing a Vendor Interest Form, though the award process will not be delayed for unapproved vendors to obtain qualification. The extended timeline from the March 2022 posting date to the August 2025 due date suggests a complex procurement process requiring significant lead time for interested parties to achieve technical qualification if needed.
