About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is soliciting quotes for 87 units of Chute Section, Eject components (NSN 1005015071176) through a Request for Quotation (RFQ) process. This procurement falls under the Small Arms, Ordnance, and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing category and is classified as a Weapons item. All responsible sources are eligible to submit quotes, which must be submitted electronically by the January 28, 2026 deadline. The solicitation may result in an Automated Indefinite Delivery Contract with a one-year term or until aggregate orders reach $350,000, whichever occurs first. Digitized drawings and Military Specifications and Standards are available electronically, and hard copies are not provided. Quotes will be evaluated on a timely receipt basis, with the government targeting delivery within 139 days after award.
This procurement is designated as a set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, limiting competition to firms meeting this certification requirement. The contract structure includes a guaranteed minimum quantity of 13 units, with an estimated 10 orders per year over the contract period. The initial requirement is for 87 units to be delivered to various Defense Logistics Agency depots located in both CONUS (Continental United States) and OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) locations, utilizing consolidation and containerization points for international shipments. The estimated aggregate contract value of $350,000 establishes the ceiling for total orders under the Indefinite Delivery Contract. Interested vendors must have the capability to meet military specifications and standards while supporting the government's commitment to awarding contracts to service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses.
