Update #1 ·

The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office has a requirement to construct containment facilities for the new government purchased Liquid Ferric Sulfate and Sodium Bisulfite tanks. The Yuma Desalting Plant (YDP) main production facility uses liquid ferric sulfate and sodium bisulfate in the desalinization process. In order to provide sufficient ferric sulfate and sodium bisulfite during the continuous operation of the desalting plant, Reclamation needs to increase the amount of both chemicals on site during desalting plant operations and to reduce the requirement to continuously refill the smaller existing tanks. The new structures will be located at the Yuma Desalting Plant.

This solicitation is 100% set aside for HUBZone Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this project is 237110 Water, Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction with a Small Business Size Standard of $36.5 million.
