About this opportunity
The U.S. Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan is soliciting quotations through the Department of State for a Kitchen Fire Suppression System Replacement project under RFQ Number 19UZ8025Q0036. The procurement requires a qualified contractor to replace two outdated Ansul R-102 fire suppression systems in the embassy's cafeteria kitchen with two new Ansul Piranha wet chemical fire suppression systems. Contractors must be ANSUL Certified and provide all materials, labor, and equipment to install systems that meet NFPA 17A standards with full continuous protection and overlapping nozzle appliance coverage. The government intends to award the contract to the lowest-priced, acceptable, and responsible offeror based on initial quotations without discussions, though discussions may be held with companies in the competitive range if necessary. Quotations must be submitted by 09:00 AM Tashkent time on September 15, 2025, and offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to proposal submission.
This solicitation does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified contractors. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the solicitation documentation. The contract does not specify award values or budget ranges, leaving pricing to be determined through the competitive quotation process. The project involves replacing exactly two existing fire suppression systems with two new Ansul Piranha systems, with work to be performed at the U.S. Embassy located at 3, Mayqorghon Street, 5th block, Yunusobod District, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Quotations must be hand-delivered to the embassy's Contracting Officer, and the solicitation emphasizes that no proposals will be accepted after the specified deadline.
