About this opportunity
The U.S. Census Bureau is conducting a virtual industry day on July 21, 2026, to address vendor feedback on the Census Bureau Transformation Application and Modernization (CenTAM) procurement and refine technical requirements ahead of final solicitation. The event is 100% small-business set-aside across all four planned Blanket Purchase Agreements (Enterprise, Decennial, Geospatial, and Systems & Program Support), and prime quoters must hold GSA MAS IT Category SIN 54151S at quote submission. The CenTAM acquisition is structured as four mission-focused BPAs totaling $2.552 billion over a base year plus 8 option years: Enterprise ($1 billion, multi-award), Decennial ($1 billion, single-award), Geospatial ($241 million, single-award), and Systems & Program Support ($311 million, multi-award). Five common task areas support all BPAs covering order management, program management, architecture, application development, and data science. The Census Bureau received robust feedback on draft solicitation materials posted April 20, 2026, with the industry day addressing notable themes and clarifying acquisition strategy. The anticipated timeline includes final RFQ in September 2026 and BPA awards in November 2026. Pre-registration is mandatory; attendance is voluntary and does not affect vendor eligibility. Matthew Gore (Matthew.S.Gore@census.gov) is the primary point of contact.
