About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center is seeking to procure 55 brand name Censis Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) bundles, which include Zebra TC52ax-HC medical grade scanners and one-year warranty support. These PDA bundles are required by the VA's Veterans Integrated Service Network 17 (VISN 17) for various locations in Texas. The PDA bundles must be able to interoperate with the existing Real Time Location System (RTLS) solution, the CensiTrac Instrument Tracking System. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) with a response due date of July 22, 2024. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price delivery order against this RFQ.

This solicitation is set aside for 8(a) small businesses. Censis is the sole source provider of the required PDA bundles due to an existing agreement with Zebra Technologies. The estimated value of the award is not provided, but the quantity required is 55 PDA bundles for locations within the VISN 17 region, including Amarillo, Lubbock, Big Spring, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Datapoint, NWHCC, Kerrville, Temple, and Austin, Texas.
