About this opportunity
Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to award a sole-source modification to Boeing under contract N00019-18-C-1012 for tools and training supporting Cross Domain Solution (CDS) Raise-The-Bar version 5.1 certification requirements for the MQ-25A Program, with responses due June 5, 2026.
The Government is proceeding under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 based on Boeing's status as sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the MQ-25A unmanned aircraft. NAVAIR asserts that Boeing alone possesses the experienced staff, plants, equipment, suppliers, and technical understanding required, and is the only source capable of addressing interrelated impacts across program efforts.
This is not a competitive solicitation. Interested parties may submit written responses identifying capability and interest by the June 5, 2026 deadline; NAVAIR will consider all submissions solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The decision to proceed non-competitively remains at Government discretion. Responses should be directed to Jared Mason or Jennifer Alvey via email or U.S. mail. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities are encouraged to contact Boeing directly through Brad Westerfeld at Bradley.R.Westerfeld@boeing.com.
