Cancellation of Solicitation No. CC-PRWI001-25
The National Park Service (NPS) announces that the prospectus to solicit proposals for the award of a concession contract to provide year-round RV Campground Services within Prince William Forest Park RV Campground (Solicitation No. CC-PWRI001-25), which closed on January 24, 2025, is cancelled.
The reason for this cancellation is that Secondary Selection Factor 1 of the prospectus issued on October 9, 2024, referenced Executive Order (EO) 14057 of December 8, 2021 (Catalyzing Clean Energy Industries and Jobs Through Federal Sustainability), which was effective at the time of the prospectus release, but was revoked on January 20, 2025, by EO 14148 (Initial Rescissions of Harmful Executive Orders and Actions) and EO 14154 (Unleashing American Energy). For consistency with EOs 14148 and 14154, the NPS is cancelling Solicitation No. CC-PRWO001-25.
The NPS will revise Secondary Selection Factor 1 to address this issue, make other minor updates, and issue a new solicitation for these services (Solicitation No. CC-PRWI001-25B).
