About this opportunity
The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Contracting Center, Edgewood Contracting Division, has issued a Special Notice announcing a virtual Industry Day for the CBRN Sensor Integration on Robotic Platforms (CSIRP) effort, scheduled for 21 May 2025. The notice is supported by the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (JPEO CBRND) and Joint Program Manager for CBRN Sensors. This is not a solicitation for proposals, but rather an informational event designed to identify industry partners with capabilities in developing and integrating advanced sensor technologies. The event will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams, allowing companies to showcase their technological capabilities in sensor integration for unmanned platforms. The notice emphasizes that this is a planning-stage event and does not guarantee any future contract opportunities.
Contractors interested in participating must complete a registration form by 15 May 2025 and submit a non-binding 3-5 page white paper by 19 May 2025, demonstrating their capabilities in developing CBRN sensor payloads for air, ground, and water-borne platforms. The primary objective is to identify partners who can develop sensor technologies that detect and identify threats, perform sample collection, and transmit data through a common operating picture. The government seeks payloads that can provide warfighters with enhanced situational awareness in various operational configurations. Eligible companies are limited to five attendees per organization and will have opportunities for group presentations and one-on-one breakout sessions with government representatives. The industry day will include a presentation by JPM CBRN Sensors and allow companies to update government stakeholders on their current efforts and capabilities. The government emphasizes that no costs will be reimbursed for participation, and this event does not constitute a commitment to future procurement.
