About this opportunity

The United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP), a civilian agency within the Department of Homeland Security, has issued a Special Notice regarding communication changes for its Industry Partnership and Outreach Program Office. This notice specifically addresses updates to contact information for businesses seeking to engage with the CBP. The notice was posted on April 8, 2025, and remains active until December 31, 2029, providing a substantial window for industry interaction. The Special Notice applies to all types of businesses, including small and large enterprises, as well as those interested in submitting unsolicited proposals. The primary focus of this notice is to redirect all communication channels to a single, centralized email address.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to streamline communication between CBP's Industry Partnership and Outreach Program Office and potential contractors or business partners. Effective immediately, all inquiries must be sent to the new email address cbp-ipop@cbp.dhs.gov, which is now the sole point of contact for the office. Two previously used email addresses - procurement-ipop@cbp.dhs.gov and smallbusinessoffice@cbp.dhs.gov - have been discontinued and are no longer valid for communication. This change applies universally to all businesses, regardless of size or type, seeking to engage with CBP's Industry Partnership and Outreach Program. Contractors and interested parties are advised to update their contact records and use the new email address for all future correspondence, including proposal submissions, inquiries, and general communication with the program office.
