The USDA Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Operations Branch, Acquisition Division is issuing a solicitation on behalf of the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and NRCS Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Program for a firm-fixed-price construction contract to restore and stabilize a streambank using rock riprap along Caves Road in Liberty Township, Ohio. The project involves channel clearing and shaping, mobilization/demobilization, drainfill, rock riprap, and woven wire mesh gabions. The contractor will be responsible for all necessary personnel, material, equipment, services, facilities and incidentals, and all disturbed areas will be seeded and mulched upon completion. Bids are due by May 20, 2024, with a mandatory 62-day performance period after notice to proceed. The government estimates the project magnitude to be between $100,000 and $250,000.

This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a $45 million size standard. A 20% bid guarantee or $3 million, whichever is less, is required. The work will take place in Liberty Township, Ohio, and the contractor must comply with Davis-Bacon wage requirements and the Buy American Act.

The USDA Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Operations Branch, Acquisition Division is issuing this solicitation on behalf of USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and NRCS Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Program for work to restore and stabilize a streambank using rock riprap  along Caves Road in Liberty Township, Jackson County, Ohio.  Contractor is responsible for all necessary personnel, material, equipment, services, facilities and incidentals.  In addition, all disturbed areas will be seeded and mulched upon completion of construction.

A bid bond in the amount of 20% of the bid price is required to be submitted with bids.  A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated under sealed bidding procedures FAR Part 14.

The project consists of restoration and stabilizing a streambank using rock riprap along Old County Rd 2 in Yorkville Township, Belmont County, Ohio.  Contractor is responsible for all necessary personnel, material, equipment, services, facilities and incidentals.  In addition, all disturbed areas will be seeded and mulched upon completion of construction.
