About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to procure case and nozzle assemblies related to gas turbines and jet engines for aircraft. This acquisition falls under Product Service Code (PSC) 2840, which encompasses gas turbines, jet engines, aircraft prime movers, and their components. The solicitation will be made available on the SAM website (https://sam.gov), with potential offerors encouraged to submit their offers electronically via email to the address specified in the solicitation documents. While specific evaluation criteria are not detailed in this pre-solicitation notice, offerors should prepare comprehensive proposals addressing their qualifications and capability to deliver the required components. This is a simplified acquisition, and potential offerors should monitor SAM for the official solicitation release and any associated deadlines for submission.
This procurement is not subject to any set-aside designations, making it open to all eligible contractors. The contract value is not expected to exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, indicating this is a relatively modest procurement in terms of dollar amount. No incumbent contractor or current supplier information is provided in this pre-solicitation notice. The solicitation number for this requirement is SPRTA1-26-Q-0106, and interested parties should use this identifier when accessing the solicitation documents on SAM and when preparing their responses. Due to the simplified acquisition threshold limitation and the waiver of synopsis requirements under FAR 5.202(a)(13), this opportunity will proceed directly to quote request format rather than following full competitive procedures.
Notice text
This requirement is not expected to exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. The solicitation will be available for review on the Sam website (https://sam.gov). Potential offerors are encouraged to submit offers via email to the address listed on the solicitation.
