6U VITA 46 PMC/XMC/AFIX Carrier Card, VPC 5TH GENERATION INTEL CORE17 SBC CARD, and REAR TRANSISTION MODULE.
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis, a quantity of two 6u vita 46 PMC/XMC/AFIX carrier card, VPC 5th generation intel core17 SBC card, and rear transition module. This requirement is sole sourced to ABACO SYSTEMS, 12090 Systems Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, AL 35803 as the only manufacturer that offers a PEX442 carrier card, the VPX6U rear transition module and, the SBC627. These are replacement parts for existing systems. Any firms believing that they can provide the materials may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the materials without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information within FBO. See the DLIS website for registration details: http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/.
All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number before the registration will be activated. It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an "Active" status as the government cannot award to an entity without an "Active" SAM registration.
