About this opportunity
The U.S. Geological Survey Office of Acquisitions and Grants seeks capsule filters for its National Water Quality Laboratory in a total small business set-aside restricted to Women-Owned Small Businesses, with quotations due September 15, 2026 and questions due September 10, 2026.
This is a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) on a firm-fixed-price basis with a five-year performance period from September 21, 2026 through September 20, 2031 and a ceiling of $2,441,216.00. Place of performance is the National Water Quality Laboratory, 1 Denver Federal Center, Building 95, Entrance E3, Lakewood, Colorado 80225.
The requirement specifies Dispos-A-Filter Versapor filter capsules with 0.45 micrometer pore size, Versapor membrane construction (acrylic copolymer on non-woven support), polypropylene housing, effective filtration area of at least 700 cm², 1/8 inch MNPT inlet/outlet connections, maximum operating temperature of 88°C, maximum operating pressure of 3.4 bar, and minimum flow rate of 500 mL per minute. Offerors may propose Cytiva (Pall) Part #12180, GeoTech Part #73050004 (Pack/50), or equivalent products meeting specified salient characteristics. Alternative products require certificates of analysis for the two most recent lots demonstrating compliance with vendor-tested limits of detection for 40 analytes including metals and anions. All filters per delivery order must originate from a single lot with identical capsule and membrane lot numbers, with labeling requirements including waterproof manufacturer identification, pore size, part number, lot number, and directional flow arrows. The offeror must provide 50 additional filters per lot at no cost for quality assurance testing, with lot acceptance contingent upon QA analysis results using ICP-OES, ICP-MS, ion chromatography, and other analytical techniques. The NAICS code is 333310, Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing. Award will be made to the responsible vendor submitting the lowest-priced quote that is technically acceptable. Quotations are submitted to yvette_sornberger@ios.doi.gov.
