Contractors must also be capable of responding to suspicious package incidents and providing explosive detection capabilities in professional office environments. The procurement falls under NAICS code 561612 for Security Guards and Patrol Services. This is currently a pre-solicitation market research effort with responses due by August 20, 2025, requiring vendors to submit detailed responses to 12 specific questions in a single package not exceeding ten single-spaced pages.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting competition to qualified small business entities. The government file indicates this is a Sources Sought market research request designed to help the agency determine the most appropriate procurement approach for these security services. No specific contract values, award amounts, or service timelines are disclosed in the available documentation. The market research focuses on gathering vendor insights about operational capabilities, experience levels, and contract vehicle availability rather than providing detailed specifications about contract duration or performance periods.
