About this opportunity

The United States Marine Corps at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton is seeking to rent two portable stages/viewing platforms for a short-term deployment. The procurement requires one platform capable of accommodating 20 people and another for 40 people, both designed to provide 360-degree viewing capabilities with overhead observation capacity. The platforms must be constructed to operate effectively on sand surfaces and include safety handrails as standard equipment. Interested vendors are required to provide recommendations for NAICS and PSC codes, general pricing quotes, and mobilization timelines via email to the specified contact by August 29, 2025. The evaluation will be based on vendor responses to these four specific questions outlined in the pre-solicitation notice.

This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting competition to qualifying small business entities. The contract involves a brief service period with setup required by approximately October 15 and teardown scheduled for October 19-20, representing roughly a five-day rental period. No incumbent contractors or specific budget ranges are identified in the notice. The scope includes both equipment rental and associated services for setup and teardown operations, with the vendor responsible for providing sturdy platforms suitable for sandy terrain conditions. The tight response deadline of three days from posting indicates an urgent procurement timeline for this temporary viewing platform requirement.
