 This is an unrestricted Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a Cable Drum Puller with 18mm Dia Unitrex, 15000 ft Drum Capacity. Sherman & Reilly Model P-1400X or equal. The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 336390 and will be issued as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated.


This project consists of furnishing all necessary labor, supervision, materials, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation, and equipment necessary to provide the Cable Drum Puller.  All materials furnished shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and OEM recommendations.  Only new equipment of current manufacture shall be supplied under this contract.  


Interested parties can download the solicitation at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 11 July, 2018.


Any questions shall be submitted in writing to Western Area Power Administration, Attn: Greg Cagle, Contract Specialist, P.O. Box 6457, Phoenix, AZ 85005 or email to cagle@wapa.gov referencing the solicitation number in the subject line.  No phone calls will be accepted.  All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by the agency.  Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.  To obtain information on completing your SAM registration and/or obtaining a DUNS number go to the following website: www.sam.gov.  Ensure you're Online Representations and Certifications is completed and current in SAMS. It is important to read the solicitation COMPLETELY as there are DATES that MUST be met.

This is a sources sought only.  Western Area Power Administration,  Sierra Nevada Region has a requirement for a  Cable Drum Puller with 18mm Dia Unitrex, 15,0000 Ft Drum Capacity,  Sherman & Reilly Model P-1400X or equal. The requirement is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 335999 with a size standard of 500 employees or less. Interested parties may provide their company information related to this sources sought.   Any information provided should include business size and type as it relates to the assigned NAICS Code and size standard.  This information may be used in determining a set-aside for the future procurement.  Interested parties should also include experience in providing this type of requirement.
