About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is procuring two specific Teledyne cable assemblies - model 1150452-106 (1 unit) and model 1155634-102 (6 units) - for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard through solicitation SPMYM325Q3136. This is a brand name mandatory procurement that strictly requires Teledyne manufactured components, with quotations from other manufacturers excluded from consideration. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), submit descriptive literature demonstrating technical compliance, and complete specific provisions related to telecommunications equipment and cybersecurity requirements. The evaluation will use Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria, with vendor responsibility determined through the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS). Quotations must be submitted via email to Emily.Kritzman@dla.mil by 3:00 PM EST on August 13, 2025, with the solicitation posted on August 4, 2025.

This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 335931 (Current-Carrying Wiring Device Manufacturing) with a size standard of 600 employees. The solicitation does not specify any incumbent contractors, as this appears to be a standard parts procurement for naval shipyard operations. While no specific contract value is provided, the procurement involves a relatively small quantity of specialized cable assemblies - seven total units across two part numbers. Performance will occur with delivery to Kittery, Maine 03904, where the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is located. Payment terms are Net 30 days after material acceptance, with options for Government Commercial Purchase Card or Wide Area Workflow payment methods, and all items must be shipped FOB destination.
