About this opportunity
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), representing the Tactical Airlift Program Office (PMA-207), has issued a Special Notice for a competitive Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for C-40A Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) services. The contract will support maintenance for seventeen United States Navy aircraft and two United States Marine Corps aircraft. This draft Request for Proposal (RFP) release is specifically designed to gather industry feedback and questions about the proposed contract. The opportunity is being pursued on a competitive basis and is not currently set aside for any specific type of contractor. The notice was posted on September 18, 2024, with a response deadline of January 6, 2025.
The primary purpose of this Special Notice is to solicit detailed industry input on the draft RFP before its formal release. Interested contractors are required to complete and submit the provided "Industry Feedback" Excel file by 4:30 PM EST on October 3, 2024, to the designated points of contact. The government plans to post responses to industry questions around November 5, 2024, with the formal RFP expected to be released in the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2025 and a planned contract award in the fourth quarter of FY25. Contractors should note that this is an informational notice and does not constitute a formal solicitation, and no funds are available to compensate for response preparation. The government emphasizes that submissions are voluntary and will be used solely for information and planning purposes. Potential offerors are advised that this opportunity is a competitive procurement for comprehensive logistics support services for the C-40A aircraft fleet.
