About this opportunity
The Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service is soliciting quotations for 28 tons of bulk fertilizer with a specific 12-3-14 nutrient composition and slow-release properties. The fertilizer must be delivered FOB Destination to 10001 Picos Road, Fort Pierce, Florida 34945 by February 1, 2026, or soon thereafter, with all shipping costs included in the quoted price. The solicitation specifies that a minimum of 50 percent of the nitrogen and potassium must be 90-day slow-release material derived from polymer-coated urea and poly-coated muriate of potash, with detailed component materials and pound specifications provided. In order to be considered for award OFFERORS SHALL SUBMIT ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Submit Firm Fixed Price quotation (quote on company letterhead) detailing the item description, place of manufacture, total price and valid for at least 60 days after receipt of quote. Item delivered FOB Destination inclusive of all costs.
- Submit Sam.gov Unique Entity ID (UEI) with quotation.
- Place of Manufacture for items(s)
REJECTION OF QUOTATION: Failure to demonstrate compliance or to submit all items requested in solicitation will be cause to reject the quote without further discussions.
DISCUSSIONS: The Government intends to award without discussions but reserves the right to conduct discussions should it be deemed in the Government's best interest.
