About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking information regarding Building Automation Systems (BAS) installation and maintenance services through this Request for Information (RFI). The primary objectives include providing preventative, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance services to support DISA's mission-critical infrastructure. The agency intends to install new systems, expand current systems, and maintain facility infrastructure as requirements evolve. This RFI is designed to gather market intelligence and potential contractor capabilities for connecting BAS systems to future infrastructure information technology tools such as Data Center Information Management (DCIM) and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The RFI is posted on SAM.gov with a response deadline of May 30, 2025, and is classified under NAICS category 541513 for Computer Facilities Management Services.

No specific set-aside designations are indicated for this opportunity, and the RFI explicitly states that it does not constitute a formal solicitation or guarantee of future contract award. Respondents are advised that they will not be reimbursed for any information or administrative costs associated with preparing their response, and no email submissions will be considered. The government emphasizes that this RFI is purely for information and planning purposes, with no commitment to procure services discussed. Interested parties are encouraged to minimize proprietary information in their responses and clearly mark any sensitive content. While specific award values or contract timelines are not detailed, the RFI suggests an ongoing need for flexible, adaptive building automation system management to support DISA's evolving technological infrastructure requirements.
