About this opportunity
The Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base is conducting market research through a Request for Information due September 9, 2026, to identify potential contractors capable of providing sustainment and modification services for the Brimstone Software Suite and its core AGAME module on the AC-130J aircraft platform. No set-aside applies.
Respondents must demonstrate repair data access, expertise, and experience sustaining and modifying software and hardware supporting the Brimstone Software Suite. Required capabilities include Post-Deployment Software Support modifications across three core areas: emergency repairs and corrective coding; growth and modifications supporting new requirements and customers; and systems integration with hardware procurement for development and training environments. The contractor must furnish all materials, support equipment, tools, and test equipment; maintain and calibrate support equipment at their facility or a subcontractor's facility; and ensure replacement materials meet or exceed original quality and comply with counterfeit prevention guidelines. Additional responsibilities span contract engineering support for evaluation, adjustments, interface corrections, deficiency remediation, documentation, configuration, training, testing, fielding, instrumentation, data analysis, and Software Integration Lab support.
L3Harris ForceX Inc. (CAGE Code 3XJB9, Nashville, Tennessee) is identified as the original equipment manufacturer and sole source for the Brimstone Software Suite. Respondents should address business information, past experience on similar projects, classified material handling capabilities, technical documentation generation, quality assurance processes, engineering services experience with emphasis on PDSS modifications and obsolescence management. Both large and small businesses and teaming arrangements are encouraged. This RFI is for planning purposes only; formal solicitation may or may not follow.
