About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command plans to award a firm fixed price modification to an existing indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract to produce Bridge Adapter Pallets. The modification would add up to one additional ordering year to the contract held by Canadian Commercial Corporation. The BAP is a specialized flatrack with a detachable winch frame used to transport Improved Ribbon Bridges and M30 Bridge Erection Boats on Common Bridge Transporters. Responses are due by December 22, 2023 and should include production capacity, schedule, costs, experience with similar projects, and differentiate between actual and proposed capabilities.
There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. The current contractor is Canadian Commercial Corporation, the original equipment manufacturer of the BAP. The pre-solicitation notice does not provide award values or budget ranges, but seeks to add up to one additional year of ordering to the existing contract. The BAP enables the transport of critical military bridging equipment.
