About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command is seeking to procure Brand Name David Clark 40600G-05 H10-13X Headsets and Comfort Kits for the EA-37B aircraft through a Request for Quotation (RFQ FA487725QA276). These specialized headsets are designed for long-duration flights and have unique dichotic capabilities that are currently only available from the specific manufacturer. The solicitation will evaluate offers based on two primary criteria: technical capability and price, with the lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror set to receive the award. All questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted via email by Wednesday, April 10th at 2:00 PM EST, with final quotes due by Thursday, April 11th at 2:00 PM EST. The government reserves the right to make multiple or no awards if deemed advantageous, and offers must include a projected delivery timeline.

The procurement is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 334220, with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The place of performance is Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona (zip code 85707). While specific award value is not explicitly stated, the solicitation indicates this will be a firm-fixed price purchase order for CLIN 001, covering the headsets and comfort kits. The procurement incorporates provisions from Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03, DFARS, and DAFFARS, with primary point of contact being Andrew Johnson (andrew.johnson.162@us.af.mil) and alternate contact Joshua Miao. The solicitation emphasizes that past performance will not be evaluated, and offerors should submit their best initial terms from both technical and pricing perspectives.
