About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command TACOM Life Cycle Management Command intends to award two modifications to extend Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract W56HZV-22-C-0072 for Systems Technical Services and Systems Sustainment Technical Services (STS/SSTS). The procurement will acquire critical engineering, logistics, and fielding support services for vehicles managed by Project Manager Mounted Armored Vehicles (PM MAV), including BFVS FOV, MLRS Carrier, and their derivatives. Services encompass comprehensive engineering support such as configuration management, design and development, system integration, reliability analysis, verification testing, and software support, along with logistics support including depot logistics engineering and technical data provisioning. The government plans to use sole source justification under FAR 6.302-1, though all responsible sources may submit capability statements or proposals for consideration. The estimated release date for the Letter Request for Proposal is August 4, 2025, with inquiries directed to Contract Specialist Jacqualine Mark at jacqualine.a.mark.civ@army.mil.
This opportunity carries no set-aside designation and identifies BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P. as the incumbent contractor under CAGE code 80212. The modifications will add 2,300,460 hours to the existing contract structure and extend the performance period by two years, from September 2027 to September 2029. The requirement is designated as sole source to BAE Systems, though the contractor may pursue subcontracting opportunities for interested parties. The extended timeline represents a significant seven-year total contract duration when combined with the original five-year period. The substantial hour addition indicates the continuation of extensive technical support services across multiple vehicle platforms and derivative systems. Potential contractors should note that while BAE Systems is the intended awardee, the government will consider capability statements from all responsible sources.
