About this opportunity

The U.S. Embassy in Tirana, operating under the Department of State, canceled solicitation 19AL6026Q00012 for Passenger Transportation Services on September 22, 2026, due to a change in embassy requirements.

The original solicitation, posted August 26 with quotations due September 10, sought multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements for passenger transportation services performed in Tirana, Albania. The procurement carried no set-aside. The government intended to award BPAs to firms deemed technically acceptable, responsible, and offering services at market prices or below, and retained the right to award multiple agreements or to make award based on initial offers without discussion. NAICS code 4859 (Other Transit and Ground Passenger Transportation) and PSC V119 (Transportation/Travel/Relocation—Transportation: Other) applied.

The government has withdrawn the solicitation and will issue a revised solicitation reflecting modified requirements. Interested contractors may contact Contracting Officer Chris Charlisle at TiranaBids@state.gov for information regarding the cancellation and anticipated recompetition.
