About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is seeking to procure BORESCOPE and other replacement parts under a pre-solicitation notice. The parts are identified by NSN 0O-0099-LLH8A3622, with a total quantity of 10 units required. The parts require engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain quality, as the existing qualified sources retain proprietary data and technical knowledge that is essential to producing the parts. Interested parties may obtain related specifications and standards from the DoD Single Stock Point, and must submit any responses or capability statements within 45 days (or 30 days if under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement).

This procurement is set aside for small businesses. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, but will consider all responsible sources that respond within the allotted timeframe. The Government is not using FAR Part 12 commercial item acquisition policies for this requirement. Potential offerors may identify their ability to provide commercial item solutions to the contracting officer within 15 days.
