About this opportunity
Naval Supply Systems Command intends to solicit repair or modification of booster assemblies (NSN 7R-1680-016997330-F7, Technical Data Package VER 001) with a response deadline of July 14, 2026. This procurement requires Government source approval prior to award, as the item is flight critical; only previously approved sources have been solicited, and the approval timeline does not permit delay pending new-source qualification.
The requirement calls for three units with delivery FOB origin. The item is classified as commercial or nondevelopmental. Bidders who are not currently Government-approved sources must submit source-approval documentation together with their proposal, selecting the applicable NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Source Approval Information Brochure for either spares or repair work, and providing technical data based on the company's production experience with the same or similar item or explaining why this represents a new production effort. Bidders with a source-approval request currently under NAVSUP WSS evaluation must submit a copy of the cover letter forwarding that request.
Proposals that fail to provide all data required by the applicable Source Approval Brochure, or do not document prior submission of required data, will not be considered. If source-approval evaluation cannot be completed in time to meet Government requirements, award may proceed based on fleet support needs using currently approved sources.
