About this opportunity

Moody Air Force Base is seeking to procure three different body worn antenna systems that must be compatible and capable of integrating with each other on specified radio equipment. The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command requires these antennas to be independent from body armor and small plate carriers, with the first system being a GPS antenna encompassing the L1/L2 1227/1575 MHz range and weighing less than an unspecified limit. The solicitation was posted on September 10, 2025, with responses due by September 15, 2025, providing contractors with only five days to prepare and submit their proposals. The procurement falls under NAICS code 334220 for Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing and PSC code 5985 for Antennas, Waveguides, and Related Equipment. Unfortunately, the government file attachment appears to be corrupted or contains only Adobe Reader default content, providing no additional technical specifications or evaluation criteria details.

This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting competition to qualified small business contractors only. The contract will be performed at Moody Air Force Base located on Bemiss Road in Moody AFB, Georgia. While the solicitation mentions three different antenna systems are required, specific quantities, contract values, or performance timelines are not detailed in the available information. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the solicitation notice. The extremely short response window of five days suggests this may be an urgent operational requirement or a follow-on procurement where potential contractors may already be familiar with the technical requirements through previous market research or industry engagement activities.
