Update #2 ·

Added: Mar 25, 2014 9:12 am Modified: Apr 04, 2014 3:38 pmTrack Changes The contractor shall provide mainframe computer services in support of administrative, statistical, developmental, and production applications for the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). These services consist of, but are not limited to: providing batch and interactive processing; printing; data storage and maintenance; security; communications support; production monitoring; and technical assistance to include help desk support by phone.

The Department of Labor (DOL) has relied on contractor-provided timesharing services for its mainframe computing needs for many years. The BLS had a separate contract from the rest of DOL until the late 90's when the contracts were extended and merged. The BLS is again moving to a separate contract, as the BLS' requirements significantly differ from those of DOL.

The RFP and Attachment 1-Pricing Tables have been amended to include two line items for FTP Processing Primetime and FTP Processing Non-Primetime. Please see the highlighted sections in pages B2-B6, C23, and the attachment to see the changes.
Additionally, please find all the submitted questions and responses in the a new attachment.
