About this opportunity
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wyoming Region is seeking a contractor to conduct a paleontological resources survey of the juniper encroachment project located in the Muddy Creek watershed south of Rawlins, Wyoming. The contractor will be required to perform a background file search and field survey to identify surface fossils, exposures of potentially fossiliferous rock, and areas where such rock may be impacted by planned vegetation treatment activities across approximately 1,124 acres. The contractor must prepare a detailed survey report with descriptions of findings, potential impacts, mitigation recommendations, and maps. This is a firm-fixed price commercial item contract that will be evaluated based on technical capability, past performance, and price, with technical and past performance being significantly more important than price.
This procurement is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 541620. The period of performance is from September 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024, with partial payments at defined delivery milestones. The government intends to award a single contract to the offeror that provides the best overall value. Interested vendors must be registered in SAM.gov and comply with FAR Part 12 commercial item requirements and FAR Part 13 simplified acquisitions procedures.
