The purpose of this announcement is to synopsize the upcoming release of the solicitation for Bureau of Land Management Western Oregon Silviculture Multiple Award Task Order Contract (BLM Western OR Silviculture MATOC) for silvicultural services to accomplish multiple forest management treatments on a wide variety of stand conditions varying in both complexity and quantities at Western Oregon Bureau of Land Management Districts.
The proposed contract type is anticipated to be a multiple-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a five-year ordering period. The anticipated ceiling of the IDIQ is $40M. Task Orders are anticipated to be issued as firm-fixed-price.
Silvicultural treatments will include tree and shrub planting, tubing and netting installation, maintenance and removal, animal control (trapping), mulching, scalping/grubbing, shading, brushing, precommercial thinning, and pruning in project areas. Manual and mechanical methods of accomplishing multiple treatments will be required.
All project areas are located within BLM’s western Oregon Districts, including Coos Bay, Lakeview, Medford, Northwest Oregon, and Roseburg districts.
This Notice is relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 115310, Support Activities for Forestry. The Small Business size standard for NAICS 115310 is $11.5M. This will be a 100% small-business set-aside, solicitation number 140L4323R0006.
This is a synopsis only for BLM Western OR Silviculture MATOC, anticipated within 15 days of this synopsis. Proposals are anticipated to be required within 30 days of solicitation posting. The timeline provided in the synopsis is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. BLM has not made a commitment to procure any of the items discussed, and release of this synopsis should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought.
