About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has published a Special Notice regarding the intended award of three Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for the maintenance and repair of air conditioning chillers. The notice, posted on December 30, 2025, announces the Government's intent to award these agreements to three pre-selected contractors: Daikin Applied America's Inc., Brady Trane Services Inc., and Johnson Controls Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Inc. The BPAs will be awarded under the authority of FAR Part 13.303 and are subject to FAR Part 12 regulations governing the acquisition of commercial products and services. This notice serves as public notification of the Government's intent to proceed and satisfies applicable posting requirements. The anticipated award date is on or about March 1, 2026.

The primary purpose of this Special Notice is to inform the public of the Government's decision to establish three-vendor BPAs for chiller maintenance and repair services that will span a five-year ordering period. The Government has determined that the three selected contractors offer the best value based on their technical expertise, qualifications, and past performance following comprehensive market research and vendor capability reviews. Importantly, this is not a solicitation or request for proposals or quotes, and no responses from interested parties will be accepted; the award decision has already been made. No additional eligibility criteria or contractor participation requirements are specified in this notice, as the selection process has been completed. The final deadline associated with this notice is January 14, 2026, which marks the conclusion of the public notification period rather than a submission deadline.
