The solicitation (RFP) will only be available at the EPA Procurement Website http:www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or around December 9, 2011, and responses will be due approximately 45 calendar days after issuance of the RFP. It will be the responsibility of the offeror to frequently check the same EPA Procurement Website for any amendments to the RFP. Questions are to be submitted to Jennifer Hill, Contract Specialist, at hill.jennifer@epa.gov.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) has a requirement for contractor supplied laboratory testing and analysis services in support of the Office of Research and Development (ORD), National Computational Center for Toxicology (NCCT), Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The contractor will use a broad panel of assays encompassing a wide range of protein families when performing these services. These services will allow for diversity within these families. Each assay, being either biochemical or cellular, will address specific protein targets.
EPA anticipates the award of a five year Task Order (ID/IQ) contract. NAICS Code 541711 applies with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This is a total small business set aside. A draft copy of the Statement of Work is posted on website: http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd/. A copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP) with SOW will be posted on or about the date the RFP is issued. Any supporting documentation and/or relevant information (if applicable) concerning this procurement will be posted on website: http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd/. The RFP is expected to be issued November 2011. Proposals will be due approximately 30 calendar days after issuance of the RFP and it will be your responsibility to frequently check the same site where the RFP is posted for any amendments. Questions are to be submitted to McDonald Morrison, Contracting Officer, at morrison.mcdonald@epa.gov.
