About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for a Bellows, Transducer with National Stock Number 2915-01-463-7650, specifically for F16 Aircraft. The procurement is for a 5-year base period with an estimated annual quantity of 80 units, which will be procured with FOB: Destination and inspected/accepted at destination. The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) is General Electric, with Unison currently approved as a source, and DLA Aviation does not possess technical data on the part. Contractors interested in responding must submit proposals within 45 days of publication, and to be eligible for award, they must be registered in the System for Award Management (sam.gov). The final contract award will be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors described in the solicitation, which is estimated to be issued on 05/27/2025 and will be available via DIBBS.
The solicitation is unrestricted, with no specific set-aside designations, and allows for potential additional sources through a Source Approval Request (SAR) package. The contract includes specific provisions such as Contractor Originated Quality Compliance (COQC) and Export Control requirements, with a Minimum Warmup Rate (MWR) of 4 units. While the exact award value is not specified, the annual procurement of 80 units suggests a significant contract opportunity. The government intends to potentially negotiate with a limited number of sources under FAR 6.302 authority, indicating a potentially sole-source or limited competition approach. Interested contractors have 15 days to identify their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item, and the solicitation will be available in PDF format on the DIBBS website.
