About this opportunity

The General Services Administration Public Buildings Service is soliciting expressions of interest for office space in Bellingham, Washington, with expressions of interest due July 9, 2026. The Government currently occupies office and related space under an expiring lease and is evaluating alternative space if economically advantageous, factoring relocation costs including physical moves, tenant improvement replication, telecommunications infrastructure, and agency downtime.

The required space spans 5,115 to 5,371 rentable square feet within a delineated area bounded by Roeder Avenue (north), Bellwether Way (south), Squalicum Harbor (east), and Squalicum Way (west). The lease requires 13 total parking spaces: 7 surface and 6 structured. Offered space must not be located in the 1-percent-annual-chance floodplain and must meet Government standards for fire safety, accessibility, seismic resilience, and sustainability. A fully serviced lease is required.

The anticipated lease term is 240 months with a 60-month firm term. Estimated occupancy is February 2027. The market survey is estimated for September 2026.

Interested parties must submit expressions of interest to Joel Wilson, lease contracting officer, at Joel.wilson@gsa.gov. Submissions must include building name, address, and space location details.
