About this opportunity
DARPA's Strategic Technology Office is hosting an industry day on September 30, 2026, in support of the Beam-Space Analog Processing for Multifunctional Enhanced RF Systems (BEAMERS) program; registration closes September 23, 2026.
The event runs 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET at Strategic Analysis, Inc. Executive Conference Center, 4075 Wilson Blvd, Suite 300, Arlington, VA 22203. Registration is required through the Cvent portal (https://cvent.me/oYodbz) and limited to 120 participants, with a maximum of three representatives per organization at no cost.
The industry day comprises two portions: a classified government presentation conducted at the SECRET level (restricted to U.S. citizens holding a current DoD SECRET clearance or higher) running most of the event, and an unclassified Industry Showcase Poster Session at the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) level beginning at 3:30 p.m. The objective is to provide program information, address questions, and create a forum for teaming opportunities. Prime contractors and nontraditional technology providers are explicitly encouraged to attend.
Attendees accessing the classified portion must submit a Defense Information System for Security (DISS) Visit Authorization Request by 5:00 p.m. ET on September 23, 2026. Foreign national participants must complete DARPA Form 60 by the same deadline. All attendees must present a Government-issued photo ID. This event does not constitute a formal solicitation; attendance is voluntary and not required for future proposal submissions.
Notice text
INDUSTRY DAY:
DARPA will host an Industry Day in support of Beam-Space Analog Processing for Multifunctional Enhanced RF Systems (BEAMERS) program on September 30, 2026, located at the Strategic Analysis, Inc. Executive Conference Center (ECC), 4075 Wilson Blvd, Suite 300, Arlington, VA 22203 from 8:00am to 5:00pm ET. This event will be conducted in two parts: a government presentation portion at the SECRET level, which will comprise most of the event, and an Industry Showcase Poster Session portion at the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) level. Both portions exclusively require advanced registration. The purpose of this event is to provide information on the BEAMERS program; promote additional discussion on this topic; address questions; and provide a forum for interested organizations to present their capabilities for teaming opportunities.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVE AND DESCRIPTION:
DARPA’s Strategic Technology Office invites interested organizations to attend an industry engagement for BEAMERS, an ambitious new program focused on wideband, staring electronic-support systems. Electronic support cuts across many operational needs, platforms, and environments. Warning, situational awareness, sensing, and related missions impose different requirements for coverage, sensitivity, latency, dynamic range, size, weight, power, and processing. Staring architectures make a large amount of information available continuously. A successful system cannot assume that every beam, frequency channel, and polarization output will be digitized, transported, and processed at full fidelity. BEAMERS emphasizes architectures that maintain persistent awareness, organize and reduce the available analog information, recognize signals of potential interest, and route selected observations to digitization. Required expertise includes analog beamspace processing using lenses, gradient-index structures, phased-array-fed lenses, and related spatial-transform technologies; integrated radio frequency (RF) and microwave photonics; wideband channelization; event detection and information reduction; switching; and data movement. Organizations interested in performing as Prime and nontraditional technology providers are encouraged to attend, identify complementary capabilities, and consider teaming arrangements.
